IOWA FALLS- Marilyn LaVonn "Bonnie" Johnson, 79, of Iowa Falls, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Scenic Manor, Iowa Falls.  Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 25, 2008 at Iowa Falls Evangelical Free Church, 19939 CO HWY D20, Iowa Falls.  Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.
    Memorials are directed to family c/o her daughter, Mary Vieth, 15 South Avenue, Iowa Falls, IA  50126.
    Marilyn LaVonn was born April 24, 1929 in Adair County, Iowa at the family farm; daughter of Russell Waltz and Cora Elizabeth (Davis) Stickels.  She graduated from Albia High School in 1947.  Marilyn was united in marriage to Robert William Johnson in Winterset at the Methodist Parsonage. She was a cook at Vinton High School for 20 years and retired as a motel manager at Fiddlers Inn, Branson, Mo.
    She attended Iowa Falls Evangelical Free Church and was a Vietnam Veteran's Gold Star Mother.  Marilyn enjoyed traveling with her daughters, having house guests, watching horses, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Marilyn will be greatly missed by her family.
    Marilyn is survived by her three daughters, Vicki Elaine Everman, Story City, IA; Mary Beth [Jeffery] Vieth, Iowa Falls; and Susan Diane [Michael] O'Reilly, Montrose, IA; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, Kris [Laura] Lilja and their daughters, Annika and Elise, Prior Lake, MN; Tessa Everman and her son, Bostin, Altoona; Kacie Everman and her children, Tayson, Jeyden and Kelis, Story City; Bethany Vieth, Tacoma, WA; Haley Auston and her children, Kiara and Kamryn, Iowa Falls; and Amy [Steven} Fellows and their daughter, Evelyn, Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Billie Lee [Curtis] Jans, Dysart, IA; and Dixie Lou [Jack] Wayson, Vinton; two brothers, Charles A. [Pearl] Stickels, Douds, IA; and Russell W. "John" [Sheila] Stickels Jr., Vinton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Ronald Eugene Johnson.
